Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri

I am a high school senior, and going off to college next year. My girlfriend who is also a senior is going to a different college other than mine. Me and her have a 8 month old child and we plan to try and make it work out in college. We have talked about child support and decided that it is not the best thing for me to have the government taking from me. Instead we have come up with a plan to draw up a contract, where i as the father pay a certain amount each month. if later down the road we dont work out and she decides to put me on child support will our signed contract hold up in court so i dont pay backed child supprt??

No, you can't establish anything legally binding concerning child support by some written agreement between the two of you. There needs to be a Court Order (Judgment) entered.
