Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri

Home purchase and seperation

My spouse and I are going to be seperating. I want to buy a house in my name only. I just wanted to verify if I can do this with out adding my spouse to the house?

You can't purchase property in light of potential divorce. I have 33 years of divorce experience. Feel free to contact me at [email protected].

Yes, but your spouse will technically still have a marital interst n the new house since it will be considered marital property if you acquire it before your divorce.
