If the house became marital property, it might be sold to divide the proceeds. Or, one of you could buy out the other. If your husband, nor any marital funds wnet to pay the mortgage on the house, then it may not be treated as marital property, and not be divided. But, if one of yu gets the house, it will be considered in dividing the other property.
