Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri

My ex husband agreed to pay$ 100 in child support above and beyond the SSDI payment that my son relieves. The family support center where he is to send the payments says that he does not have to pay it because of the SSDI payment so they will not release the funds to me and he refuses to pay me personally. Do I have any legal recourse? I was ordered to pay half of the transport costs for visits. Do I still have to of I get no support?

It sound slike you may have set up out to defraud the government, and could face jail time. In your application for the SSDI you probably swore that you were not getting any other support from the father, and would report if you ever did. If the father agrees to pay more, he shoudl pay it direclty to you. If he refuses, then did he ever really agree to p[ay the extra $100? If tyou fail to pay fo rth etransportation, you muight be foudn to be in contempt. But, if you child is on SSDI, then the father probably does not have the resources to seek that you be foudn in contempt.

Good luck
