Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri

My husband and I are beginning the whole divorce process. I have two little girls and neither of them are biologically his. Him and I got together when I was pregnant with my youngest. He wanted his name on the birth certificate knowing that she was not biologically his. Now he is trying to go for full custody of her. Is that possible? I want him to still see her and I am not wanting any child support from him. I just do not want him having full custody if her. What can I do?

You should definitely hire an attorney. Your attorney should be able to draft a pleading to obtain a Court Order for a DNA test, and after your husband is proven not to be the father, he is very unlikely to get custody. I handle family law matters in a variety of jurisdictions, and have done so for over 34 years. I might be able to offer my services to you for a reasonable fee. Please feel free to contact me.
