Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri

My husband has been cheating for two years and moved to Illinois on July 24, 2009, Can he file for divorce in Madison County, Il. if we were married in St. Louis County, Mo?

Also he has mentioned signing a quick claim deed, would he still be liable for half the mortgage payments or if I would decide to sell the house would he still be entitled to half the equity in the House?

You need to consult with an attorney. You need a lot more advice than just a couple of answers to questions posted on a web site. In the future, you might want to use the term "quit claim" instead of "quick claim". This is an extremely common mistake. In your post you do not tell us any of the basic information that an attorney would neeed to give you good advice. How is the real estate titled? Who is liable on the home loan? If you are both on the title to the home how could you decide to sell it unless he agreed? Do yourself a huge favor and consult with an attorney.
