Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri

My husband hired an attourney we thought he could represent both of us, he wont,

the only isssue i have is about 401k and retirement split. we havebeen married 17 yrs. he knows a portion is due to me my question is when and how would recieve the monies? how do i insure not loosing te monies? aso we have a 401k loan(stupid i know) i am responsible for half, how do insure he pays his half with out being in arears
