Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri
My husband left over a year ago but still has not filed for divorce. He has a problem with alcahol and anger and is verbally abusive. He travels for his work and is only home on the weekends. I dont know why he hasnt filed for divorce yet. Maybe he is waiting for our daughter to graduate so he doesnt have to give me money to llve on anymore? He makes well over 100K/yr and before he left he always paid all the bills and now he apparently pays only a select few because i get notices in the mail everyday so I dont know what he does with the money. I also think he has aquired credit cards in my name without my knowledge. I have never applied for a credit card in my entire life so if there are any in my name he did it behind my back. My credit is ruined because of this iI am sure. Should i go ahead and file for divorce or should i wait for him?
