Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri

My husband owned property prior to our marriage. We have a pre-nup which includes the property. After we were married we built a house on that property. We are now divorcing. Does the house automatically go to him due to pre-nup? Any way I can keep the house? What am I entitled to?

If you have an attorney you should direct your questions to your attorney. If you do not have an attorney, you need to hire one to represent you in your dissolution of marriage proceedings. You may have an interest in the improvements upon the real estate even if the pre-nup in fact saves the real estate to your husband. An attorney would need to read the pre-nup before giving an opinion as to it's legal effect. Please consult with and hire an attorney.
