Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri
Hello, my husband is on probation foor back child support. He is caught up on child support and is current. However, he has not been relieved from probation and is told that he has to file a motion. No one will tell him what motion to file, not eben tthe court. Please advise on which motion to file. We live in Missouri and the county is Clayton. We appreciate your help. Thank you in advance.

Neither the court nor the court clerks can give legal advice, although it sounds as if they have already come pretty close to doing so. I would suggest that your husband should hire an attorney who is experienced in these matters. Although your husband could try to file a Motion on his own, it is unlikely that he would have as good a chance of success as an experienced attorney. If getting off of probation early is important to your husband and you, I believe that it is worth the relatively small fee that you would need to pay an attorney. By the way, I have done quite a few of these myself, and my office is one block from the courthouse in Clayton. You or your husband may call me for a consultation.
