Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri

My husband ran up the house hold bills and then left me. He abandoned me with everything due and no money or job or car I lost it all. He ran off to ohio last I know. We have not spoken in 19 months. I am unable to find him. How can I affordably divorce him. Can I without him signing?

If we can find an address for him, we can file and have him served. If not, you can still obtain a Dissolution by having him served by publication. In this type of proceeding the Court can not order your husband to pay anything but the Court can grant you a Dissolution of Marriage. Therefore it would be much better for you if we can have your husband served. I have handled hundreds of Dissolutions and I might be able to help you. Please feel free to call me for a consultation.
