I.live in Missouri and my baby's father doesn't want the state going after him for.child support.and.wants.to.settle. on a amount but. I.dont want our child getting an insufficient amount... how much should I ask for without sounding over bourd

If the child is under five years old, you probably should not "settle" for less than $200,000.00 or 25% of the father's gross annual salary times the number of years until the child turns eighteen, whichever is higher. If he makes $20k pewr year now, don't settle for less than the $200k. If the child is an infant, and the father makes $50k per year, don't settle for less than $225k.
