Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri

Inadequate alimony/support payments

If someone has signed a divorce papers and agreed to a set amount of alimony, are they required to pay the amount if his/her standard of living decreases following signing the papers? If the receiving party cannot make ends meet on the amount being paid, rather than the amount agreed upon, what are his/her rights within the confines of the judicial system?
