Re: Joint Custody Child Support

The issue of whether a father pays child support to the mother is not determined by the fact that there is an award of joint custody. In many cases of joint custody child support is awarded from one parent to the other. Child support is determined pursuant to statute and Supreme Court Rule using Form 14 and all pertinent instructions to do the calculations. If you have a child support issue and would like a free telephone consultation, you may call me at 314-727-2822.
