Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri
What's the likelihood that a prosecutor will actually go after a mother for non payment of child support? She's been living a lavish lifestyle and has been able to evade the law for several years. Knowing that the law really protects the offenders, I have no faith in "the system", and I feel like I'm spinning my wheels senselessly.

If the father is getting state assitance, it is very common for the prosecutor to go after the mother to recompense the state. If the father is not getting state aid, then he can sue the mother civially for back support. In those cases, the prosecutor is not likely to go after the mother for unpaid support.
Good luck
