Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri

I live in Missouri and I have 3 children with my ex-wife. When my oldest got married, I asked for a review to get my order reduced. After about a year, they finally reduced it and I was credited almost $4,000. I haven't had a review since and my middle child is 21, hasn't lived with her mother since she was 17 and even lives with her boyfriend now. My youngest will be 18 in February and graduate in May '13, and hasn't lived with her mother for about a year. How much longer do I need to pay and how do I go about stopping payments? I am about 6 months ahead on payments.

It is imp[ossible to give you a set date and amount that you will have to pay. But, based upon the facts you described, you might be able to get areduction now. If the 21 year old is not in college, you may get that support ended, and you may be owed a credit. As regards the youngest child, it apepars that you will owe support until at least May 13. If you do not take custody of that child, you may have your support recipent changed to the person that is caring for her.

Obviously, this is a very general explanation based upon the basic facts you provided. You need to consult direclty with a family law attorney in your area, before deciding what to do.

Good luck
