Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri
I live in Missouri. If I were to terminate my parental rights would I have to still pay child support. The mother has agreed to terminate the child support order. I just want to make sure that she cant or the courts come back and say that I have to pay child support. And is there any legal document that I could ask her to sign stating that if I sign over my rights I have no parental or financial obligations to the child in question.

You can give up your rights to custody and visitation, but until the child is adopted, you do not escape the duty to orovude support.
Good luck
What makes you think that you can terminate anything? The State can terminate your parental rights, or you can give them up together with your obligations to the child if the child is adopted, but otherwise a parent has a duty to support his or his child.
NO. The only way your parental rights can be terminated is by the juvenile court for abuse or neglect or if the mother remarries and her husband adopts
