Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri
my ex lives in tn and I live in mo . he wants joint custody but has NEVER been in his life also He has never seen his son, he has paid child support for the past year but only after the DNA test. He has another biological child with his new fianc�e do I have to give him joint custody? I am writing up a parenting plan but I don't know if I have to give him a certain number of days or if I have to share custody?

If you two cannot agree on visitation, the Court can decide for you. But, if you let the judge get the impression that you'll interfere with the father/Son time, you could lose custody and wind up paying child support to the Dad. That rarely happens, because most people realize that their negative feelings about their ex, have nothing to do with the other parent's relationship with the child.
