Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri

never married, my daughter is being kept fromme by her father

My two year old daughter was living with me, and I was allowing the father (with mutual agreement) to pick her up on the weekends, or when ever he wanted to see her. Now he is keeping her, and refuses to let me see her. I was wonder what are the steps I need to take to get her back. I do not have alot of money, and I am currently living with a friend.

Is the father of your child teh legal father of your child? Was he ever determined to be the father and granted custody rights by a Court? If not, then he has no legal right to the child whatsoever. Call the police where he lives and have them meet you at his home to regain your child. Generally speaking, you should file a Petition in Court seeking child support and limiting the father's access to the child due to his taking the child and keeping the child from you. the Court may also Order the father to pay your attorney's fees and court costs.
