Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri

I got married in Missouri in 1982. In 1984 we separated and I have never heard from him again. I don't know where is his or how to get in contact w/ him. I want to get married now, but cannot until I find out whether he did the paperwork or not. How do I proceed?

You or yrou attorney can search Missouri case records to se eif there is a dvorce case on fiel. Also you or yrou attonrey can do a nationwide search for your (ex)husband. You may have to file a divorce case and serve your ex by publication.
