Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri

medical expenses

My husband has legal custody of his 2 children in missouri. Their mother lives in Pennsylvania. In their divorce decree, she is supposed to pay half of medical expenses after insurance pays all of their share. She has refused to pay any and says she is not going to. What would be the best legal approach, if any, that we should proceed with? Thank you for any advice you can give.

There may be little that a Missouri Court could do to get funds from the mother. You might be able to get a Judgment here, but not be able to enforce it there. The father might want to speak with an attorney admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, before doing anything here. You could probably find some domestic law or collection attorneys on The Pennsylvania State Bar Association's web site
