Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri

last month i went into my wife's lawyers office and signed divorce papers. My wife said the papers were filed by her lawyer on May 6. Shouldnt this info be in casenet by now. When i asked my wife about this she wouldnt give me her lawyers name ( I dont remember) can't I call her lawyer just to see if it really has been filed. i haven't recieved anything in the mail.

You went to her lawyer's office and "signed papers"? And you don't even know the lawyer's name? And you choose not to hire an attorney? And you apparently don't even know what has been filed? After practicing law for 37 years people still amaze me with the unbelievable mistakes they make. Take my advice and hire a lawyer. Borrow the money or sell some possessions if you have to. It is possible that it may not be to late.
