Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri

my mother has taken my son for a summer vacation and now refuses to give him back to me she filed a case with dfs in Jackson co mo. two months ago there findings were there was no cause and no evidence of neglect or wrong doing, now she refuses to give me my 11 yr old son and has filed a new claim in clay county were she resides. I had an old landlord tenant dispute warrant from 6 yrs ago when I went to retrieve my son I was taken to jail since the dfs worker came from clay county and left a note on my door to contact her I have taken care of my legal matters but my mother claims that the dfs worker advised her not to return my son until further notice how can dfs make a determination and advise her not to return my son with out a proper investigation and is what she doing legal what can I do now to get my child

DFS can say whatever the want to; you must hire an attorney to file habeas corpus.
