Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri
I am a non-custodial parent of a child turning 18 in June, his mother allowed him to drop out of school on November and signed a form saying he will be home schooled, which is not being done. I plan to try a legally terminate child support after his 18 birthday. Are there any pitfalls I can avoid??

If he goes to college, your obligation may continue. Otherwise, it will end this year, because he turns 18. Perhaps you can convince your child of the value of education.
Good luck

The biggest pitfall is NOT hiring an attorney to do it right
