Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri

How do object to a "motion for a new trial or re-hearing"? I won the judgement against my ex-husband regrading CS, and now his attorney has file this "motion for new...." Can I do something to stop it being reopened or having a new trial? If it's reopened/new trial would it be the same judge or might it be a different judge? I am representing myself.

If your exhusband cannot point to legitimate reasons why the case should be reheard, you may prevent it from happening. If he can point to cognizeable and legitimate reason for rehearing, there may be littl eyou can do, but retry the case or settle.

Good Luck
