Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri

Your Open Question: Is it possible for me to get the child custody battle in the state of Missouri? ?

I am a resident of the state of Missouri and my wife is a resident of the state of Maryland. Currently we are all in England as I am in the us air force. We plan on divorcing, and she wants the kids to live in north Carolina I want them to live in Missouri. I will be getting out of the AF in nov. We married in north Carolina when I was stationed there our daughter was also born there. My wife changed her residency to Maryland abouta year ago. We have been in England for 3 years now. All she has is friends in north Carolina, where I have family to include my parents in Missouri. When I get out we havebetter living arrangements in Missouri, where I can live with my parents and we can afford to get her an apartment. If we go to north Carolina then she and the kids would have to live with her friend and I would be homeless (we would only hav the money for one apartment) neither of us would have a job in north carolina, where Missouri I can get a job quickly, and my parents could watch the kids while we worked. Outside if her friend who has 2 children to include a new born would have my two on top of her own health issues. Her friend also lived on assisted living which she needs to get by. So to me the better situation would be for the children to be in missouri. My daughter is 4 and my son is 18 months. We have all lived in england the last 3 years and are currently still in England because I am in the us air force stationed there. But my home address in the states is Missouri, and missouri is the only state we pay taxes to, cause I am the only one who works.
