Have to pay for child support and college both?

I currently pay child support for my two sons from a previous marriage. Will I be required to pay for their college costs as well as child support? I cannot afford both. My ex currently has majority custody. Can I get the divorce modified so the boys live with me half of the time so child support ends during their college years. College and child support would break me.

I would require a great deal more information than your question provides in order to give you any type of meaningful answer. A review of your Decree of Dissolution and/or Separation Agreement would be a necessity. Then, a personal interview regarding your current factual situation, your ex-spouse's factual situation and the factual situation of the children would be needed.
