Paying for College??????

What is the laws for paying for a childs college in Missouri. My son is 15 and I have of course 3 more years of child support but wanted to know if I have to pay for college and child support both after 18 years of age in MO. Can I use the child support to give to my son for school and not my ex-wife, being that he will not be living at home 9 month out of the year. Thanks for your help

Does the existing court order require you to contribute towards the child's educational expenses? If not, the statutes do not require you to pay automatically.
