Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri

I have an over the phone court hearing with Child Support Enforcement because my 2 year olds father is asking for his back owed child support to be lowered. He has already successfully gotten the amount lowered from 675 a month to 475. How do I fight this? What are my rights? The father has never seen our daughter and he is married to another woman.

If the hearing is with the enforement folks, then ther is already a support Order in effect. It would have to go before the judge to get lowered again. You might consult directly with an attorney in your area, who could ask you about the particualr facts of yrou case. Many offer a free or low cost initial consultation. The little money you spend on an attorney now, mught be more than offset by what you get later.

Good luck
