Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri
I have primary custody of my 16 year old son, tonight he ran away to his fathers because I took his cell phone away for bad grades and lying. He has now said he is moving to his dads and tomorrow he plans on bringing his dads girlfriend up to school and try to transfer his stuff to the school in his dads town. What can I do to stop this? And can my sons dad transfer him to new school without my permission since I'm the primary parent?

It has been a long time since the courts have awarded "primary" custody, but if you really do have a Judgment that provides you with that, or provides you with sole physical custody, then you should be sure that the school has a copy of your Judgment as well as your instructions not to allow the son's father or the father's girlfriend to do anything. Your son does not have the right to decide where he lives. If his father takes any action that is against the existing Court Order or Judgment, then you will hvae appropriate legal remdies. Consult with an attorney.
