Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri

We are in the process of divorce, I have custody of our two children. He is being charged with vehicular manslaughter in TN and will moat likely be incarcerated for several years. Is there any way for the court to terminate his parental rights?

If there is a pending adoption appliocation by another man, the Missour courts :might" terminate the father;''s rights. But, mere incarceration is not abandonment, so there would have to be other grounds for terminating the rights.
