Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri

I received a summons for Motion to Compel Joinder in a court case brought by my ex-husband which will cause me to travel about 200 miles with an overnight stay at a hotel. How do I to about getting reimburse for my expenses?

In many cases litigants do not get reimbursed for the expense of coming to court. If you are being called as a witness, you may get reimbursed in that case. Many people in yrou position hire an attonrey to represent them, so that they do nto have to make uneeded trips. Perhaps the entier case can be resolved without you having to travel the 200 miles. Contact an attorney in the area where the case it set.
