relocation of custodial parent and children

i may need to relocate. i have primary custody. what actions can be taken by the childrens mother if i do everything the way the plan states? if i propose a change of plan what happens then?

Re: relocation of custodial parent and children

You must comply with the relocation statute. After you do so, the other parent may file a pleading in court to allow the judge to determine what happens next. Usually, the relocation is allowed with adjustments to the parenting plan to assure substantial meaningful parenting time to be enjoyed by the other parent. You may be well advised to consult with an attorney.
