Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri

Is there risk involved in allowing a child to, on a trial basis, go to live with his non-custodial parent? Could I lose my primary custodial parent statis? Is there a certain length of time or in certain situatiions that determine this. My son is seven.

There is always a "risk" with allowing a child to live with a "non-custodial" parent. That risk could include a possible modification of custody. I would advise you to consult a family law attorney in your area prior to changing your son's primary residence.
