Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri

My son was arrested in herculaneum, missouri in december for having cigarettes and marijuana on school grounds, he was given bench probabtion for the cigs and a 300.00 fine for the marijuana, he was 17 at the time of the arrest and then he was arrested about 2 weeks ago in pevely, missouri for mip by consumption but he is now 18 and the arresting officer did not read him his rights or give him a breathalizer test. He just asked my son to follow his finger and then put cuffs on him. Now I received a letter telling him that he had a court date for his violation of probabtion. I dont know what to do..

You should consult directly with counsel, and probably hire one to represent your Son in both cases. He could do some jail time, lose his driver's license and possibly not get some jobs because of these charges. It is importatn that he evaluate his options. That cannot be fully done by a generalized description on this site.

Good luck
