Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri

My son filed for custody of his daughter and the mother was served papers over 30 days ago and she hasn't responded to the papers. Our understanding is that she had 30 days but she hasn't done that. What should my son do?

Your Son might request a judgment by default. He can do this at the docket call.
