Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri

My son and his ex girlfriend recently agreed upon a parenting plan and child support. In this document it states that both have legal custody. The mother is listed as primary residence. The agreement also states that the mom must give written notice of moving and that the child will have no contact with a registered sex offender who is the brother of her boyfriend. The mom has moved with out written notice and has allowed the 4 year old child around the registered sex offender. My son wishes to take the mom back to court. Since she has violated the agreement they agreed upon. The agreed documents also state that the person who breeches will be responsible for the other persons attorney fees. My question is should my son seek an attorney or can he file a form on his own to petition the courts to modify the current aggreement since the mom is in violation.

Your son needs to hire the best attorney he can afford. How important is his child's life? Practicing law is not filling in forms. People cause unbelievable damage when they represent themselves. Some of that damage can never be fixed. When it can be fixed it costs thousands more than paying an attorney in the first place. You are wise to ask the question. I have handled these cases for almost forty years. He can contact me for a free telephone consultation at 314-727-2822.
