my son is in jail for another 2 years. he has a daughter that is 3 . her mother want to move away 1000 miles away with her but right now she has left the child with both grandparents to raise till she finds a plce and a job. my son has gave me power of attornty ca i stop her for taking the child away .

There is a statute that allows a Court to grant custody of a child to a third person (such as you) in certain cases where the parents ae unable or unwilling to exercise custody.
