Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri
My son has lived with my sister, her husband and two daughters for a year. 6 months ago they got legal guardianship. Now they are going to court to try to terminate my parental rights and adopt him. My sons father passed away so I am the only parent left. I had him taken away for child endangerment because there were drugs in my home. I have since been clean and sober. I live with my mom and dad who have a nice home and income. They are completely supportive in helping me get my son back. My sister lets my son come and stay the weekend with me once or twice a month. I don' t pay any child support for him. I live in Missouri. I want to know if they have a chance at adopting my son and also if there is any chance I can get him back even though I currently don't have a job. Thank you.

They may have a chance. If your Son doesn't live with you within the next few months, they may be able to have your parental rights terminated. You need to consult directly with an adoption attorney in your area. The court or the petitioners may pay your attorney fees.
Good luck
