Step Parents rights

As a step parent to my husbands child, do I have ANY rights at all? If so, can I get them in writing?

I presume that you are asking if you have any legal rights in regard to the child of your spouse. If so, then the short answer is "No." Usually there is a Court Order which deals with the legal rights of th child's parents in regard to the child. If you were to go through a "step-parent adoption" the you could have legal rights in regard to the child.
