Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri

I was subpoenad to appear in court for an business partners divorce.....the other sides attorney wants me to provide income documentation....I dont want to help the otherside and I dont want to give them my personal info.....do I have too?

If you ignore the subpeona, you could get into trouble with the court. You may refuse to provide your personal information until the court directs you to answer. They will not likely force you to do this in someone else's case. If you were ordered to produce documents, you must either produce them, file a motion to quash the subpeona or present a valid defense to producing them, such as it may violate your fifth amendment rights to be forced to provide the information. You proably shoudl hire counsel to represnt your interests, or at least to explain yoru options as to yrou particular case. Do not just rely just on this general descritption of your options, as it is based upon your general description of the facts, and may not address things you failed to mention.
