Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri

Supervised Visitation

How long can a 3 month supervisor visitation order stand? Basically the judge ordered supervised visits for 3 months....3.5 years ago. the reports were never sent to the judge by the ex and the ex uses it as justification for my wife to not get to speak to the children on the phone. This has been going on for 3.5 years and we are starting over with a new GAL and new counselor....again. The order for for 3 months only, but no one wants to take a stand and say enough is enough. I have been married to my wife for just over a month and in that time she has called twice to talk to her children and both times she was told not to call back. I encouraged her to call at least weekly as has her lawyer. We are documenting ever call and copying ever letter and email. I know we are doing what needs to be done, I just want to make sure I am helping my wife do everything she needs to and ensure she is not being taken advantage of by her ex. Any advise is greatly appreciated.
