terminating parrental rights.....

How do I have my Son's Father's parental right's terminated? He has never claimed him untill recently, and didn't sign the birth certificate, and has only seen him about once every few months, and now he want's to see him. the few times he has seen him he didn't tell him or act like his father.

Were you married to this man at the time your son was born? If not, has there been a Court Order determining him to be the legal father of your son? If not has the Division of Child Support Enforcement entered an administrative Order finding him to be the legal father? If none of these things are true than the chances are that this man is not legally considered to be the father of this child, and accordingly has no legal rights (parental rights) to terminate. If one of the above is true, then you could possibly seek to have his rights terminated in Court.
