You do not state what Court Order or Judgment was entered specifically, or exactly what it says. It is possible that your ex-husband has rights even though you were awarded sole legal and sole physical custody. In my opinion you should send the certified letter and comply with all of the requirements of the relocation statute. Then, if your ex-husband files an Objection to the relocation with the Court, you can either settle your issues or leave it up to the Judge. I suggest having your attorney review the letter you intend to send to be sure that it complies with the law.
