ex wife default on car loan
my ex was awarded the marital van subject to the finance co. both name were on the lein. i have no further obligations with the van. but it is affecting my credit. I'm i still liable for the debt. even though it was awarded to her?

Yes. The divorce court did not have jurisdiction over the creditor, and if you were on the note then you can still be liable to the creditor for the debt. Slow pay or no pay can negatively affect your credit. Your divorce lawyer should have explained all of this to you. You did have an attorney, didn't you?
