Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri

my wife filed for divorce sept 7,2010. divorce was released oct. 1,2010. does that mean we are legally divorced

What do you mean "divorce was released"? Do you mean that the Petition for Dissolution was dismissed? In thiry-three years of practicing law and doing domestic relations work, I have never heard the phrase "divorce was released" until now.
