Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri
My ex wife lives in Colorado and when the divorce was finalized, she got physical custody while I got joint custody. Since the beginning of 2014, she has sent my son back and forth to Missouri (my resident state) and every time there has been agreed upon time for her to pick him up but she always reschedules. I've now had him for four months and she gave permission for me to enroll him in pre-k in Missouri because she still couldn't decide when to get him. I want physical custody. I can prove I am stable. What can I do to get physical custody?

If the DDivorce/Custody case was in Missouri, have your attorney file a Motion to Modify the Custody Order. If the case was in a state other than Missouri, you'll have to ask an attorney admitted to practice there. Many states have a similar process. You should consult directly with a family law lawyer to seek specific advice, based upon all the facts if your particular situation.
Good luck
File a motion to modify
