can a 91yo who has been declared totally disabled by the probate division be forced to represent himself, due to lack of funds, in the civil court for a dissolution of marriage case in Missouri?

Such a person may qualify for legal aid assistance, or need a friend/familyember to assist with private counsel fees. However. A finding of incapacity or incompetence, by a Probate Court may not prevent their spouse (unless they are the Conservator/Guardian) from obtaining a divorce.
