Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Missouri
a contract is in dispute and both parties have contactually agreed on massachusetts as the venue. However, i live in missouri. if the party livning in massachussets decides to sue me, will i be able to change the venue to missouri jurisdiction? contract was signed in missouri and real estate concerning contract is also in Missouri. thanks

It is impossible for a Missouri attorney to predict how a Massachusetts judge will rule. However, given the contacts to Missouri. It may be possible to have the case heard, in Missouri, even if it is decided using Massachusetts law.
