dog bite 3 years old

my neighbor claims that my dog (who is no longer alive) bit her dog 3 years ago, she wants me to pay for a vet bill for surgery that her dog had YESTERDAY because of that supposed dog bite 3 years ago

Turn this over to your insurance company and politely decline her offer. She likely has no proof and can't support a claim against you.

If the cause of the surgery was the dog bite, then why didn't she have it done 3 years ago.

Sounds like a shakedown to me.
